Holidays

Schedule-Tools enables anesthesiology practices to define as many holidays as are required. Each holiday has a name and starting and ending date. (see example) When a holiday has been defined anesthesiologists who will be working that holiday are selected from a list of your practices active anesthesiologists.

When creating a schedule the schedule engine will check each date that is being scheduled to see if it is a defined holiday. If the date is a holiday the scheduler will apply schedule rules that apply to holidays. In addition, only anesthesiologists listed to work on the given holiday will be considered for scheduling on the holiday date(s). While many practices may chose to manually schedule holidays and holiday weekends, Schedule-Tools lets you decide between auto generated and manual holiday schedule generation. (see example)

The holiday manager is also an integrated holiday report. The page shows your defined holidays and the staff scheduled to work the holidays.
