Web Site Management Tools

Schedule-Tools is designed to be managed by Anesthesiologists not Webmasters. This is important for several reasons. Self management will help your practice keep it's web and tool data up to date without the burden and cost of communicating your required changes to a web worker at Lanex. This does not mean that Lanex will not assist you with graphics and layout advice and production during the site creation and commissioning process, but it does mean that you are not attached to us at the hip for most web site content updates.

As discussed under Tools/Flash Menu Manager, your site administrator(s) have a handy and intuitive tool that lets you manage the menu structure and security settings of your web site. You are also provided with several content templates that you may modify and populate with text content if you wish. This means that you may add static content as you wish without cost if you wish. We will help your site administrator learn to do this, and of course are always available to assist you or post updated content if you like.

The second part of the web site content management toolset are the pages that allow your staff to maintain their personal and online content by themselves. This removes the burden from the web site administrator and has proven to keep site content up to date better than a single person could do.

A third toolset enables your location (Hospital/Clinic) location administrator to manage their own users. When users sign up they will be assigned as staff or location related for their security level. They will also be associated with an "organization". Each organization has an "Organization Manager". This person is able to set the security and status of the other users associated with that organization. This means that you do not have the burden of keeping track of new and departing staff at each of the facilities that your practice serves.

There are other tools that allow you to manage the public and private content on your Schedule-Tools site as well. Our goal at Lanex is to provide the support and tools you need, but empower you to manage as many of the tools, features, and content by yourself if you wish. At the same time we are always ready to help you as needed.
